Assist in the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of an enterprise-class IT infrastructure focused on Linux based stack of technologies to support a SaaS application.
Provide Tier 2 technical support for the enterprise.
Work in concert with Zywave development teams providing key infrastructure and operational components.
Conduct research and evaluation of IT systems and make and implement recommendations for improvement and innovation.
Primary focus on implementation and support of a Linux systems and application stacks that run upon Linux.
Linux deployment, orchestration, monitoring and support.
Kubernetes infrastructure deployment, support and orchestration supporting Zywave SaaS development and application deployment.
Elastic stack infrastructure deployment and management supporting Zywave SaaS development and application deployment.
Integration with Storage Area Networks, including replication and backup functions.
Design, implement and maintain automated procedures to manage Zywave systems using scripting technologies ideally using Ansible, Terraform and PowerShell.
Participate in the design, implementation and integration of a wide range of Cloud and hybrid cloud technologies including Azure and Amazon based IaaS and PaaS offerings.
Improve business processes in coordination with internal Zywave stakeholders; working closely with Zywave Product and Development teams.
Innovate IT processes while continually adopting new technology for a fast-paced software-as-a-service company.
Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot problems in Zywave systems.
Coordinate maintenance with the appropriate internal teams as well as support providers and/or vendors.
Document process and procedures as well as troubleshooting techniques to aid in the retention and dissemination of knowledge.
What you should bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science plus at least 3 years of systems design/implementation experience or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
Fundamental understanding and extensive history of Linux Systems administration at enterprise scale with expertise in Ubuntu and RHEL systems.
Solid understanding with Apache, Ansible, PHP and Python application management.
Experience with container networking on Rancher, Docker or Kubernetes Container Networking Interface (CNI).
Experience with container volumes on Rancher, Docker or Kubernetes Container Storage Interface (CSI).
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure.
