Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager II, CF the Materials and Stores Supervisor II, CF supervises the receipt, storage, issuance, and shipping of a volume of varied supplies requiring complex storage practices in a large redistribution warehouse.
Responsible for warehouse equipment, storage, and maintenance; maintains records on the movement of equipment.
Assumes equivalent duties and responsibilities in assisting the Warehouse Manager.
Maintains records on inmate workers.
Inventory and inventory control.
Knowledge whether incoming supplies meet the standards set in the Office of Procurement and agency’s specifications.
Maintains order and supervises all staff and inmates assigned to the Maintenance Warehouse, Laundry, Clothing Rooms and RASP.
Supervises, trains, and instructs staff and inmates in their work and submits periodic written appraisals of their conduct and productivity.
Prevents escapes and injury to themselves or to property.
Maintains security, inspects premises, and searches inmates for contraband such as weapons or illegal drugs.
Acts as liaison between the Warehouse Manager II and the various facilities.
Supervises the Material and Stores Supervisor I’s (M&SSI) in charge of all the clothing rooms at the Institution.
The M&SSI in the Maintenance Warehouse, M&SSI drivers, specifically the Laundry and Mail drivers, oversees redirection of M&SSI’s to cover RASP.
Supervises the Laundry Supervisor II’s (LSII) in the main laundry to coordinate the processing of clean, soiled, and repaired laundry.
Completes written appraisals on the conduct and working performance of staff and inmate workers.
Maintains security of work area and materials.
