*Job Description *
We seek a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at Baby G’s Burger and Bar and Riverfront Lodge as a General Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in business or a relative degree, a proven track record in hospitality, experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers and distributors and exceptional operational and management skills.
This individual must be able to manage a diverse team, drive overall operational efficiency and promote excellent customer service.

*Responsibilities:*
_*Operational Management*_
• Oversee and streamline day-to-day operations of the restaurant and lodge.
• Implement and maintain high-quality service standards.
• Address customer concerns and feedback in a professional manner.
• Recruit, train, and supervise employees to ensure a high level of service.
• Schedule employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage.
• Actively promote the restaurant and lodge to bring in more customers.
_*Legal*_
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and distributors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and labor laws.
• Prepare necessary paperwork relating to employees (handbooks, etc).
• Prepare guidelines for operation (food handling, health and safety).
• Complete paperwork such as sales/inventory reports and staff attendance reports.
_*Financial Management*_
• Monitor finances and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate sales records and recording KPI’s.
_*Inventory Management*_
• Implement efficient and streamlined inventory control measures.
• Minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
_*Qualifications*_
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance and/or legal.
• Demonstrable experience in hospitality.
• Experience in contract negotiations and drafting guidelines.
• Exceptional people management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
*Start date: *April 2024 or as negotiated.
