Server-Bartender Job Description: We are seeking reliable and experienced Server-Bartenders to join our team at Longboards Bar & Grill.
As a Server-Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while efficiently multitasking between serving drinks and food, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities: 1.
Greet and welcome guests, taking orders for food and beverages promptly and accurately.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes or guest-specific requests.
3.
Provide detailed knowledge about our menu and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
4.
Upsell and suggest additional food and beverage items to enhance guests' experience and increase overall revenue.
5.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guest tables, prioritizing time-sensitive orders.
6.
Respond to guests' queries and concerns, addressing them in a professional and courteous manner.
7.
Monitor guest intake of alcohol and prevent over-consumption by adhering to responsible serving guidelines.
8.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including processing payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
9.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and disposables as needed.
10.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
11.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
12.
Assist in cleaning and resetting tables, while maintaining a neat and presentable dining room ambiance.
13.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements: 1.
Previous experience as a Server-Bartender or similar role in the hospitality industry.
2.
In-depth knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixed drinks.
3.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with guests.
4.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
6.
Basic math skills to handle payments and perform cash transactions accurately.
7.
Attention to detail for accurate order taking, preparation, and inventory management.
8.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs.
9.
Physical endurance to stand for long periods, carry trays, and lift heavy kegs or cases of beverages as required.
10.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
11.
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in the jurisdiction.
